01 / PRIVACY & TRUST

Your nights,
on your device.

The You Must Sleep Privacy Policy. Understand what stays on your device, which services Apple provides, and how you can manage your information.

Effective and updated: September 8, 2026

Scope and developer

This policy covers the You Must Sleep iPhone app and the youmustsleep.draconova.site support website, developed and operated by Longjiao Qiao. App descriptions refer to the version 1.0 implementation.

The app supports a consistent routine; it is not a medical, diagnostic, treatment or emergency service. Records describe schedule execution and settlement, not physiological measurements of when you fall asleep, sleep duration or sleep quality.

Information stored on your device

The app stores sleep schedule times and status, the current night session, settlement and reward-claim records, travel collectibles, virtual coin balance, unlocked and equipped decor, and preferences such as onboarding state. The latest system event and its time help show schedule status and troubleshoot execution.

The main app and night-monitoring extension share local schedule and settlement state through an App Group. The current app has no developer-server upload, app account, developer cloud backup or cross-device progress sync. System backups may store or restore local data according to your Apple settings.

Screen Time and notifications

With your authorization, the app uses Apple Family Controls, Device Activity and Managed Settings to restrict app and website categories on a schedule, within system limits. The current version applies restrictions to all categories; it does not offer an individual app picker. The app does not read message content, browsing history or per-app usage-duration reports, or transmit that content to the developer.

Night settlement uses system schedule-start and schedule-end callbacks and local state. When the system cannot fully confirm a session, it may be marked for review; this is not a judgment that you did not sleep.

With notification permission, the app can schedule a local reminder five minutes before bedtime. It does not use a developer push server. You can decline notifications or disable them in iPhone notification settings.

Apple purchase services

Optional quarterly and annual Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase use Apple StoreKit. On the device, the app verifies Apple-provided product identifiers, transaction validity, expiration and revocation status to grant or restore access. The developer does not receive full payment card details through the app.

Apple handles your Apple Account, payments and purchase records under its own terms. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription or erase Apple transaction records. Virtual coins are earned locally and are not sold in the current version. Travel collectibles cannot be sold for coins.

Voluntary feedback and diagnostics

If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any screenshots or diagnostic details you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate issues and handle your request. Redact unrelated personal information first. Email providers process this information to deliver and store correspondence.

The current app includes no third-party advertising, behavioral analytics or crash-reporting SDK, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not sell personal information or share it for cross-app advertising tracking. Feedback, crash and usage diagnostics submitted through Apple or TestFlight may be available to the developer under those services’ rules; this is separate from an app-operated upload system.

Retention, deletion and permissions

Local data is retained while you use the app. Currently, up to the latest 400 claimed night settlements are retained, with unclaimed records kept separately. You can stop the schedule in app settings or revoke Screen Time access. Stopping clears the current restrictions and cancels the pending bedtime reminder, but does not delete history.

There is no app account or one-tap progress reset in the current version. To remove local progress, first stop the schedule and revoke access, then delete the app through iOS. Offloading an app may retain its documents and data and is not the same as deleting it. System backups, Apple purchases and system authorization records follow Apple settings and rules; the developer cannot remotely erase them.

Use the contact below to request access, correction or deletion of support emails and attachments you sent us. We retain them only as needed to handle your request, necessary issue follow-up or legal obligations. We cannot promise to erase records independently retained by Apple or email providers under applicable law. We cannot recover lost on-device collectibles or coins by email.

Your rights and information security

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about, access to, correction or deletion of personal information we hold, or restrict or object to relevant processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We request only identity-verification information necessary to handle the request. On-device data is managed through the app and system settings.

Local data relies on iOS sandboxing, App Group isolation and device security. Protect your device passcode and Apple Account. These safeguards do not guarantee absolute security; we will never ask for your password or verification code. If new data uses or services are introduced, we will update the policy and obtain additional consent where required.

Minors

The app is not a child-directed parental-control product. Minors should use it and handle purchases with guardian guidance, obtaining guardian consent where local law requires it. Contact the developer if you believe a minor has sent us personal information that should not have been provided.

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. Our page code sets no cookies or browser local storage and loads no advertising, analytics scripts or third-party fonts. To deliver and secure pages, Cloudflare processes IP addresses and technical request and traffic information. The developer may view traffic statistics or security events in the service dashboard, but has not created an additional access-log database for this site.

Cloudflare and its service providers may process information in the United States, the European Economic Area and elsewhere. Retention depends on service purposes and legal requirements, not a single fixed number of days. The Cloudflare Privacy Policy linked below explains network data, retention and international processing. Website visits do not automatically upload your in-app sleep records or collectibles to us.
